A derelict city church is back up for sale despite plans to turn it into a community centre.
Lauriston United Presbyterian Church on Lauriston Place has fallen into disrepair since it was bought by the Arab Social League of Edinburgh in 1982. Last month it appeared plans were back on the cards, with ownership set to be transferred to a new charity, the Edinburgh Arab Scotland Trust.
But a report to the council's planning committee has revealed it is back up for sale and the social league is in talks with a buyer.
